2008/2009 School Boundaries

Hi All -

This email is in regards to the 2008-2009 Attendance Boundaries for CAPOUSD, in specific to Talega. First everyone take a deep breath! Next if you are planning on going to the meeting Dec. 6 at 6:30, please read the "San Clemente Regional Recommendation" and the "Speaker Protocol", they can both be found at http://www.capousd.org/attend0809.htm. When ready the first document notice that currently Seaside is not slated to be effected by this reassignment, the current recommendation is targeting communities in Talega that have not been built or build out is not complete. The only thing that raised an eyebrow from me is the grandfather clause, we can not allow the current terminology to take effect because it will set a precedence none of us want.

To Recap:
1) Take a deep breath

3) Write down your concerns so you have them ready for speaking
4) Attend the meeting Note that San Clemente Speakers are on at 7:30
5) If speaking please leave your emotions out of it, I know this is hard but to be effective you need to do this.
